Nursery & bump pictures

As promised, here is a shot of my belly at 26 weeks...

And the beautiful nursery that my wonderful husband painted this weekend!! He did an awesome job!!

And a close up of the knobs I painted...

Still more to do, but it's come along wonderfully!!

Maureen, both you and the nursery are adorable :) What a great idea to dress the knobs up like that too - very cute and extra girly! Hope these last couple of weeks have left you feeling better than the weeks before and that little Autumn is growing like crazy!

Our Infertility Journey

July 2013 - We're pregnant (for the fourth time...crazy!!) God is amazing! Betas 31 & 96! Praying for one or two healthy babies next March/April so we can finally step off this infertility roller coaster!

June 2013 - 3rd times the charm...started meds for July cycle in St. Louis...cleared the Ultrasound test this time...lining looks great!

April 2013 - Let's try this FET thing again...back in St. Louis! Ugh...cycle canceled again because lining is too thick! Off to see an RE in North Carolina for a fluid ultrasound. Nothing found except a thick lining.

March 2013 - Attempted FET, but lining was too thick and cycle was extremely short. Ended up starting my period the day I was supposed to have the transfer.

November 2012 - First ultrasound revealed one perfect little baby (11/6). Never made it to the second ultrasound, suffered a miscarriage on 11/15...exactly one month after our transfer, reason unknown.

October 2012 - We're pregnant!! Beta one was 20 (10/22) & Beta two was 62 (10/24)!!! Thawed and transferred 3 blastocysts. Hoping one or two stick around :o)

August 2012 - Started birth control pill and waiting to start shots on September 21st for October FET cycle.

September 2010 - Back to work on 9/3. Autumn goes to daycare for the first time on 9/7. Is she really 3 months already...oh my!

July/August 2010 - Autumn is a great baby! Loves to sleep...just like her Mom :o) We are enjoying our summer off together, but hoping for cooler weather soon!

June 2010 - Autumn arrived via c-section on June 7th at 6:31 AM. She weighed in at 9 pounds, 9 ounces and was 21.5 inches long...we think :o)

May 2010 - Ultrasound at 36 weeks (5/10/10) confirmed Autumn is head down and weighs approximately 6 pounds 12 ounces. Won't be long now!!

April 2010 - 32 week appointment shows all is going well. Autumn appears to be head down already...as I've noticed by all the kicks to the ribs. Getting a little more uncomfortable, but still having a relatively easy pregnancy!

March 2010 - Took a "Babymoon" to Clearwater Beach Florida and did lots of relaxing!! Also, had our first family shower at my cousins house. It was amazing to finally have one of these celebrating the impending birth of our child!!

February 2010 - Everything continuing to progress normally! My baby bump has definitely arrived and outside of a few strange ailments it's been a very easy pregnancy so far! Can't wait for spring!

January 2010 - Happy New Year!! Everything going well. 19 week ultrasound confirmed it's a little girl. Autumn is developing perfectly...although she's still not great at getting her picture taken...guess she takes after her Mom :o)

December 2009 - the end of an amazing year! 16 week ultrasound on 12/21 revealed it's a little girl. Everything looks perfect! Can't wait for the new year!!

November 2009 - Second OB appt everything looked great. Heartbeat around 140 bpm. Saw the baby move for the first time! (11/12).

October 2009 - First Ultrasound showed one perfect little baby (10/6)!! Second Ultrasound we got to see the heartbeat (10/14)! Third Ultrasound (and first OB appt) we got to hear the heartbeat (173 bpm) and he/she is starting to look like a baby! Yeah (10/26)

September 2009 - We're pregnant!! Beta one was 7 (9/23) & Beta two was 61 (9/25)!!! 17 Eggs retrieved on September 12th. 16 mature, 15 fertilized. 2 blastocysts transferred on September 17th!! 5 frozen embryos for later!

August 2009 - Gearing up for September IVF. Started Lupron & Dexamethasone on August 20th! Baseline U/S on August 27th showed ~12 follicles. Praying for a miracle next month!

July 2009 - Hysteroscopy on July 16th to remove a polyp. Jacob's DNA Frag revealed a high HDS level (42%). Officially signed up for Low Stim IVF with Dr. Ahlering in September 2009.

June 2009 – Waiting, waiting…decided to explore our options and had some tests run by Dr. Ahlering…he offers some different IVF options that we’re considering…if it comes to that.

May 2009 – Started Agysten in preparation for another Hysteroscopy with a side of Laporoscopy…might as well take a peek in that left blocked tube while we’re at it!

April 2009 – More tests…HSG that was the most painful thing ever! Everything comes back fairly well…even better than a year before…except for another stinkin polyp in my uterus!

March 2009 – Waiting, waiting…stupid methotraxate!

February 2009 – Oh my, my…I’m pregnant…don’t get too excited yet though. Valentine’s day go in for second blood test only to find out my numbers aren’t doubling! Ultrasounds show nothing in my uterus…end up concluding it is ectopic. Given shot of methotraxate…spend the night in the hospital for internal bleeding…and manage to survive 3 ultrasounds and blood tests a week for the next month until my numbers are negative. Worst Valentine’s Day of my life!

January 2009 – After begging for one more shot – third round of chlomid and IUI’s and…

December 2008 – Second round of chlomid and IUI’s – and another “Big Fat Negative” Oh and did I mention how fun it is to go through IUI’s with Thanksgiving & Christmas in the way. This month they missed my ovulation…I had to hurry home to give myself the trigger shot before it was too late! Yikes!

November 2008 – First round of chlomid and IUI’s – the first “Big Fat Negative”

October 2008 – Hysteroscopy to remove polyps – Dr. P says it went very well

May 2008 – Results of tests confirm sperm issues PLUS “old eggs”, blocked tube, hypothyroidism, polyps in uterus, too thick lining, low blood flow to the uterus…shall I go on? Guess we are lucky that atleast we know what to work on.

April 2008 – First appointment with Dr. P...LOTS of tests run.

January 2008 – Learned of some issues with the swimmers...my OB tells us it is time to visit an RE and recommends Dr. Pearlstone.

December 2007 – Talked to OB and he recommended sperm test for the hubby and some blood tests for me.

June 2007 – “Hmmm…this is taking longer than I thought.” Started using ovulation predictor kits (OPKs).

December 2006 – “Honey, let’s start a family.” Time to pull the goalie *smile*
